The Fine Gael TD for Galway West, Sean Kyne welcome this morning (Wednesday) welcomed the news that the allocation of 200,000 funding for the development of three-star hostel accommodation for 40 people in Saint Mhuirbhí on Inis Mór.
Deputy Seán Kyne said: "The provision of funding to final approval from the Board Co Limited Islands is very positive for the Aran Islands and will provide high quality propane steam table accommodation for reasonable price for visitors to the island.
"Additional accommodation is needed to fill a gap in the market propane steam table and it will be vital to help the tourism industry grow exceptionally important.
